TatianA Lahera Kalainoff

is a multidisciplinary designer based in Brooklyn, NY.

She holds a BS in Architecure from the University of Virginia and recently completed a MS in Data Visualization at the Parsons School of Design, where she investigated the intersection of data, design, technology, fabrication and storytelling with a focus on equitable access to information, demystifying bureaucratic processes and providing opportunities for underrepresented voices to be heard.

Tati believes information is power, but it has little to no value without context and a compelling story. She has over 10 years of experience in visual design, communications, strategy, and collaboration.

Growing up, Tatiana moved around a bunch and was brought up in a multiracial household (Filipino and German American). Being mixed race and a Third Culture Kid significantly shaped her design perspective and how she engages with the world.
